It has been a joy to share food and basic necessities with those who need it most. It gives them a hand up and allows us to share the love of Jesus in a practical way. We tell them how volunteers from Canada volunteer their time to make the dried soup and to make the beautiful quilts that we bring. So many times we hear from people “we can’t believe that people from so far away would care about us and our needs”. They are truly grateful.
As we have funds for, we try to help with other basic needs. There is always a need for clean water, a clean place for midwives to work and deliver babies, properly vented wood cook stoves, clothing and food.
